Your AWS bill is bleeding.
Your deploys break at 2am.
I fix both — without a $200k hire.

I help bootstrapped and seed-stage SaaS teams cut AWS waste, stabilize deployments, and ship without 2am pages — at a price that fits a startup budget.

Start with a $299 AWS audit — fully credited toward any project or retainer.

// 3-Minute Walkthrough
See real work, not just claims

Instead of certifications, I record short walkthroughs of real systems I've built. Watch me explain the architecture in plain English — then decide if we're a fit.

Walkthrough — coming this week
A 3-minute screen-share covering a real CI/CD pipeline, AWS architecture, and Grafana dashboard from a production environment.
✓ Real architecture, not slides ✓ No marketing fluff ✓ Sent in 30 seconds via email if requested
// Who This Is For
Built for Bootstrapped SaaS, not Series B Enterprise

If you're a founder or small engineering team running on AWS, watching your bill grow faster than revenue, or losing sleep over deployments — that's exactly what I fix.

Bootstrapped & Seed-Stage SaaS 2–20 Engineer Teams AWS-Native Startups $5k–$50k/mo AWS Bill
What you get — and what you don't
✓ What I deliver
  • Direct work — you talk to the engineer, not a sales manager
  • Fixed-price audits and milestones — no surprise hourly bills
  • All work via PRs you review, code you own forever
  • Loom walkthrough handoff with documentation
  • Same-day reply during IST/EST/GMT overlap hours
✗ What I'm not (yet)
  • AWS-certified — pursuing Solutions Architect Associate (Q3 2026)
  • 24/7 on-call — available evenings (IST) with overlap for US/UK timezones
  • The right fit for SOC2 / HIPAA enterprise compliance work
  • A 50-person agency — solo, so I'm selective about scope

I'd rather tell you upfront what I'm not, than sell you something that won't fit. If the boxes on the left match what you need, let's talk.

// Services & Pricing

B2B SaaS · Past Employer Engagement
Eliminated Manual Deployment Bottlenecks
Problem: Deployments took 3–4 hours and required senior engineering time, blocking the rest of the team's releases.
What I built: Automated Docker builds + a GitHub Actions pipeline with staging gates, automated tests, and one-click rollback. Wrote runbook for the on-call engineer.
Result: Deploy time dropped to under 1 hour. Team shipped daily afterward.

Stabilized Production Under Traffic Spikes
Problem: Frequent database connection drops and silent EKS node failures during peak traffic windows.
What I built: Re-tuned EKS HPA + cluster autoscaler, added connection pooling, set up Prometheus alerts on node health and DB connection saturation.
Result: Hit 99.9% uptime target through next quarter. No incidents during peak load.

AWS Cost Optimization
Problem: Cloud bill was outpacing revenue growth — unused EC2 instances, oversized RDS, no S3 lifecycle policies.
What I built: Rightsized EC2 + RDS, moved non-prod workloads to spot instances, configured S3 lifecycle rules for old artifacts and logs.
Result: ~30% reduction in monthly AWS spend. Savings sustained over the next 6 months.

Honest disclosure: I haven't yet completed an independent freelance project at this scale — these are from my full-time engineering roles. I'm offering the $299 audit to start small, prove the work, and earn the larger engagement.

// Common Questions
Things you're probably thinking right now
Are you AWS-certified?
Honest answer: not yet. I'm sitting the AWS Solutions Architect Associate in Q3 2026. Until then, I share Loom walkthroughs of real AWS environments I've built — you can verify the work directly instead of trusting a badge. The audit fee gives you a low-risk way to see the work for yourself.
What timezone do you work in? Will I be talking to you at 3am?
I'm based in Indore, India (IST, UTC+5:30). I work with US/UK clients during my evenings: 7 PM–11 PM IST overlaps with US ET mornings (8:30 AM–12:30 PM) and UK afternoons (2:30 PM–6:30 PM). I respond to all messages within 4 business hours. For urgent issues during a retainer, faster response is part of the agreement.
What if the work doesn't deliver?
Every project breaks into 2–3 milestones with written acceptance criteria signed off before kickoff. You only pay for milestone N+1 after milestone N is approved. If milestone 1 doesn't pass, you don't pay for milestone 2. The audit has its own guarantee: if I don't find $300+/mo of savings or one critical reliability risk, the audit is free.
Why not hire a full-time DevOps engineer instead?
A senior DevOps engineer in the US/UK costs $150k–$250k base salary plus benefits, equity, and 6+ weeks to recruit. If you're a bootstrapped or seed-stage SaaS with under 20 engineers, you probably don't need 40 hrs/week of DevOps — you need someone who can fix the top 5 issues, document the system, and stay on retainer for the long tail.
Why not use a bigger DevOps agency?
Agencies typically charge 2–3× more, route you through a project manager, and put junior engineers on the actual work. With me, you talk directly to the engineer doing the work. Tradeoff: I'm one person, so my capacity is limited and I'm selective about what I take on.
How fast can you start?
The audit can usually start within 3–5 business days of signing. Project work typically kicks off 1–2 weeks after the audit, depending on your access provisioning. I currently have 2 client slots open.
Do you sign NDAs / DPAs?
Yes — I'll sign your standard NDA before any read-only access. For UK/EU clients, I'm happy to sign a basic Data Processing Agreement covering GDPR. I never share client work or names without explicit permission.
What happens after the 15-min call?
If we're a fit, I send a 1-page proposal: scope, milestones, price, timeline. You sign, pay milestone 1, and we start. No 5-page MSA, no procurement back-and-forth. For audits and projects under $5k, payment via Stripe / Wise / direct transfer. Net-15 invoicing for retainers.
// About Me
Hi, I'm Adarsh
Adarsh Singh

I'm a DevOps engineer with 4+ years of hands-on production experience across AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. I've worked at four companies running real workloads — not tutorials, not labs.

I'm now opening up nights and weekends for freelance work with bootstrapped and seed-stage SaaS teams. My focus: cut your AWS bill, stabilize your deployments, and document everything so the next engineer can pick it up cold.

My approach is simple — every change goes through a PR you review, every system gets a Loom walkthrough, and every engagement is milestone-based. If something breaks, I fix it. If a milestone misses, you don't pay for the next one.

Working toward: AWS Solutions Architect Associate (Q3 2026), then Terraform Associate.

Read-only access to AWS + GitHub. I deliver a written report with top 5 cost wins + top 3 reliability risks. Fee credits to any project.
STEP 03
Project kickoff
1-page proposal with milestones + acceptance criteria. You sign, pay milestone 1, I start. No 5-page MSA, no procurement loop.
STEP 04
